We’re excited to be expanding our Social Media Team and are now recruiting for 2 talented and experienced Social Media Executives to help shape and elevate our brand's paid and organic social media presence.
In this role, you will be developing and executing engaging content across our social media channels, with a strong focus on video content that resonates with our target audience. Your creative vision and expertise in videography and video editing will play a key role in showcasing the unique travel experiences we offer.
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week.
Job Accountabilities
- Develop campaign strategies and execute across both paid and organic social media
- Produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives, including promotional videos, destination features, customer testimonials, and more
- Manage and grow Travel Republic’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, respond to enquiries, and cultivate an active online community
- Track and analyse performance metrics for social media content, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Identify and manage partnerships with influencers, content creators, and other brands to amplify our reach and impact
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates to ensure our content remains relevant and innovative
- Manage the daily budget for paid adverts, driving leads to the customer experience team.
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience working within social media or a similar industry
- A passion for all things digital and a good eye for content creation
- Familiar with the types of content used in social platforms and how they work for brands and businesses
- A sound understanding of social media community management & moderation
- Awareness of other digital marketing channels and how they integrate with social media
- Video editing skills and a flair for creativity
- An understanding of core principles of social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube
- Experience using performance tools such as Facebook Analytics and Google Analytics
- Able to provide basic levels of data analysis and reporting
- Impeccable copywriting / blog writing skills with a high standard of spelling and grammar
- Flexible and hard working – proven ability of working to deadlines under pressure
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Photoshop and SEO knowledge desirable
- Design skills desirable
