FileMaker Developer

We are looking for a high-performing FileMaker Developer to join our ever-growing team, at our prestigious office, The Rocket Center in Blackburn.
Warrantywise supply the highest quality extended vehicle warranties for all makes and models to private individuals as well as over 3000 independent dealer groups.
The last 12 months has seen us undergo huge growth that’s taken the Warrantywise family from 50 to 150 people, and we plan to continue our rapid expansion during 2024 and beyond.
What does the role involve?
Warrantywise has developed a bespoke FileMaker solution to manage the majority of the business’ needs over the past 24 years and is our primary CRM for managing all customer and plan information. We aim to invest further into the platform to support launching additional products, strengthening our reporting, streamlining our administration and enhancing our online presence.
You will be responsible for working under your own initiative on a range of large and small projects as well as collaborating with a team of Database Developers, Web Developers, and Digital Designers on projects. Your primary focus will be to upgrade, maintain and develop our existing FileMaker CRM and leading the project alongside our existing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and maintenance of FileMaker within the business.
- Assist with large-scale projects to improve the departments capabilities with software.
- Support internal projects including Automation, Platform Enhancements, Customer Integrations & Overall Enhancements.
- Implement and maintain the necessary software development lifecycle artefacts.
- Design and implement software, based on requirements and/or analysis artefacts
- Implement and perform unit tests reflecting system specifications.
- Integrate FileMaker with 3 party API’s and existing web-based company systems.
- Reporting to the Head Of CRM.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- 3+ Years Experience/knowledge of FileMaker development is essential.
- Can support with driving efficiency & automation.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Experience in at least one of the following technical areas are desirable:
- XML (Desirable not essential)
- PHP (Desirable not essential)
- FileMaker REST API (Desirable not essential)
- Claris Connect (Desirable not essential)

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday between 09.00am and 17.00pm (Although on a rare occasion, work may need to be done in an evening or weekend as per business needs).
