Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write and produce compelling written content to accompany video projects, such as blog posts, social media captions, and email copy.
- Video Production: Assist with the planning, shooting, and editing of high-quality video content for various channels, including the website, YouTube, social media, and email campaigns.
- Video Optimisation: Ensure all video content is optimised for SEO and social platforms, including YouTube and Instagram, using best practices for video search rankings and engagement ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
- Content Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of the content strategy, with a strong focus on integrating video into the overall marketing plan.
- Content Calendar Management: Maintain and manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of both video and written content in line with campaign schedules.
- Social Media Content: Develop video content for social media platforms tailored to each platform’s audience and format requirements.
- Content Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, to deliver cohesive, engaging content.
- Content Performance Analysis: Track and analyse the performance of content using analytics tools Google Analytics, YouTube and Ruler, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Creative Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends and new video production techniques to ensure our content remains innovative and engaging.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or a related field preferred but not essential.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in content creation with a strong emphasis on video production, editing, and storytelling.
- Video Production Skills: Expertise in video production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar), with a portfolio of high-quality video work.
- SEO and Video Optimisation: Strong understanding of SEO principles and video optimisation strategies to drive traffic and engagement.
- Content Management Systems: Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or similar, and familiarity with video hosting platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo.
- AI - basic experience with AI tools such as Chat GPT, Perplexity, and Claude.
