The purpose of the Creative department within the Brand Marketing team is to generate increased brand affinity, awareness and consideration amongst customers. Encouraging existing customers to shop more with us and new customers to consider Dunelm as a shopping destination. Our brand platform, The Home of Homes, is supported by owned channels, including ATL and organic social, as well as earned media and influencer engagement, underpinned by consistent creative and a single tone of voice. Amongst other, we work closest with the Commercial teams, Digital Trading and Digital Marketing to ensure the seamless promotion of our fantastic product offering and the work we do as a responsible retailer to support our local communities and the world in which we operate.
The Mid-weight Creative Designer role is pivotal in shaping the creative cross-channel for Dunelm. Our mission is to inspire a sense of joy, inspiration, and solutions for our customers. We tell a compelling and cohesive brand story. Our team executes creative to be in line with our brand guidelines.
This role will deliver robust designs for Dunelm, responding to briefs across multiple channels for digital, print and motion. Working collaboratively with other members in the team and stakeholders to deliver connected creative. The Mid-weight Creative Designer will have a good handle of Adobe suite and the main programmes for designing for digital and print. They will execute multiple projects from brief to publish with your Creative Manager against scheduled dates, and will assist with creating pitches and presentation of these to leadership and stakeholder teams.
Key to this role is staying up to date with the latest updates in software, our industry and platforms to help shape future creative projects.

- A developed sense of design, and clear understanding of Brand Building and Design systems, with an excellent eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with Design teams in Dunelm HQ to understand briefs and translate them into creative optimised for channel that meets the needs of our customers.
- Produce assets for multichannel marketing campaigns.
- Produce assets and builds for all channel BAU creative briefs.
- Produce digital, static and motion graphic content.
- Support senior colleagues with preparation for publishing content and generation of creative toolkits.
- Deliver conceptual creative responses to seasonal campaigns and craft creative toolkits.
- Effective presentation skills. Communicate your creative response to various audiences in a compelling connected manner.
- Design and develop promotional emails that get sent to our customer base on a weekly basis.
- Adhere to brand guidelines which are consistent to our customers across a variety of channels.
- Ensure web development principles are followed which optimise our sites speed, performance and usability and channel best practice.
- Liaise with teams to understand their briefs and desired outcomes.
- Put the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver outstanding and engaging creative content across all Dunelm platforms.
- Proven experience as a conceptual Graphic Designer or in a similar role, supported by a relevant degree or qualification.
- Fantastic attention to detail – work will be seen by a wide audience.
