The Customer Content Curator is a dynamic and pivotal position that requires a profound understanding of the neighbourhood’s culture, interests, and needs. This role involves researching, sourcing, organising, and presenting local content on our website that is not only relevant but also engaging. By doing so, the curator fosters a sense of community and promotes local businesses and events.

You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately 2-3 days per week in the office with the remainder being from the comfort of your own home. However bear in mind during your probation and training, we may request more office presence to ensure you feel fully supported and equipped for success. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too!

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your responsibilities...
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with all teams within the Customer Services Directorate and our residents to source content and understand community needs. Build strong relationships within the community, attend local events, and maintain a visible presence in the neighbourhood.
- Content Management: Organise and present content on our website, ensuring it is accessible, engaging, and easy to navigate. Regularly update content to keep it fresh and relevant, and respond to community feedback and suggestions.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with local trends and happenings. Monitor local news sources, social media, and community feedback to identify emerging trends and topics of interest, ensuring content remains relevant and timely.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all content adheres to high-quality standards and aligns with community guidelines and values. Review and edit content for accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness, catering to the diverse needs and interests of the community.

Our ideal candidate...
- Proven experience in content creation and curation, preferably in a community-focused role.
- Strong understanding of the local community and culture, with a passion for promoting local businesses and events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships within the community.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for content management, including social media platforms and content management systems.
