PPC Specialist (Google Ads)

Position Summary
- You will manage, optimize, and innovate across multiple (20+) Google Ads accounts. This role requires deep expertise in PPC strategy, data analysis, and achieving profitable results for our clients. The ideal candidate will excel in planning, implementing, and analyzing campaign performance, while communicating effectively with both internal teams and clients.
What you will be doing:
Strategy & Campaign Builds:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing, relevant terms.
- Develop targeted PPC campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, social channels) aligned with client objectives—whether lead generation, brand awareness, or direct sales.
- Craft compelling ad copy, refine ad groups, and optimize landing pages for maximum relevance, efficiency, and conversion potential.
- Define precise audience targeting parameters using both first- and third-party data.
Execution & Performance Optimization:
- Launch and manage paid search and social campaigns, overseeing budgets, bidding strategies, and day-to-day performance.
- Continuously monitor key metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS), running A/B tests and making data-driven refinements to exceed KPIs and maximize ROI.
- Integrate conversion tracking and refine attribution models—including offline conversions—to ensure accurate measurement and insight into the full customer journey.
- Collaborate with SEO, content, social, and CRO teams to ensure cohesive, multi-channel strategies.
Insights, Reporting & Communication:
- Regularly analyze campaign data to uncover trends, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Deliver clear, concise performance reports to internal teams and clients, translating complex PPC concepts into actionable insights.
- Lead client meetings, present strategic recommendations, and align PPC initiatives with broader client goals.
- Take full ownership of campaign success, mentor team members, refine internal processes, and contribute to the ongoing growth and excellence of the PPC department.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of digital agency experience
- Proven ability to manage and optimize at least 20+ Google Ads accounts simultaneously
- Experience with other advertising platforms (e.g., Bing Ads, Facebook Ads) is beneficial
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or diplomas in digital marketing are a plus.

- Additional certifications (e.g., Facebook Blueprint) are advantageous.

- Advanced Data-Driven Keyword Research:Conduct comprehensive keyword analysis using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz; identify and target high-intent long-tail keywords; analyze search volume, competition levels, and keyword trends; perform competitive benchmarking to uncover opportunities and gaps; utilize search intent analysis to align keywords with user needs and optimize ad relevance; implement negative keyword strategies to enhance campaign efficiency and reduce irrelevant traffic; continuously monitor and refine keyword lists based on performance data and evolving market trends; collaborate with SEO teams to ensure strategic alignment across paid and organic initiatives.
- Expert Ad Copywriting: Develop compelling and persuasive ad copy tailored to target audiences using data-driven insights; conduct A/B testing to optimize headlines, messaging, and calls-to-action; integrate SEO keywords seamlessly to enhance ad relevance and quality scores; collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and visually appealing campaign execution; analyze performance metrics to refine and improve copy effectiveness; ensure compliance with advertising policies and guidelines; utilize copywriting tools and platforms to streamline content creation; adapt messaging strategies based on evolving market trends and consumer behavior.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implement strategies to improve landing page performance and increase conversion rates through user experience enhancements, persuasive design, and data-driven adjustments based on user behavior insights.
- Advanced A/B Testing and User Behavior Analysis: Design and implement A/B tests to optimize ad performance and landing page effectiveness; utilize heatmap tracking and user behavior data to identify areas for improvement; analyze test and behavioral results to guide campaign adjustments and recommend landing page enhancements that increase user engagement and conversion rates.
- Bid Management and Budget Allocation: Strategically manage bid strategies and allocate budgets across campaigns using data-driven insights to maximize ROI, optimize cost-per-click (CPC), and ensure effective resource distribution aligned with marketing objectives.
- Comprehensive Tracking Setup and Management: Configure and implement tracking solutions using tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to accurately monitor user interactions and campaign performance. Develop and manage event tracking, conversion tracking, and custom dimensions/metrics to gather essential data. Ensure proper integration between Google Ads and Analytics for seamless data flow and attribution. Conduct regular audits to verify tracking accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies. Collaborate with development and marketing teams to deploy tracking codes and scripts effectively. Utilize advanced features like cross-domain tracking and enhanced ecommerce tracking to gain deeper insights into user behavior and optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven findings.
- Automation and Scripting: Utilize automation tools and scripts (e.g., Google Ads Scripts) to streamline campaign management tasks, improve efficiency, and implement advanced bidding strategies.
