The Role
Forbes Solicitors LLP are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Business Development team at our Gordon House Office. This role is a full-time role working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of hybrid working.

This role will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing tasks, from event coordination to digital content creation, with a focus on reporting and analytics.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for achieving successful outcomes such as:
- Update and maintain Consumer division content on the company's website, ensuring it is current, accurate and reflects the firm's ethos;
- Manage Consumer division social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) by creating, scheduling and monitoring posts;
- Monitor website and social media analytics, preparing monthly reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement;
- Responsible for monitoring and measuring PPC campaigns, analysing enquiry data, and tracking trends to optimise performance;
- Develop and assist in the creation of digital content (short videos and social media posts) to engage audiences across various platforms;
- Work with the wider team to produce and edit videos, ensuring high-quality content for campaigns;
- Assist in the creation and distribution of e-newsletters, event invitations and email campaigns using platforms such as Dotdigital;
- Monitoring the Reviews Solicitors account, providing regular feedback and conducting detailed analysis;
- Generating, analysing and delivering monthly reports on the performance and effectiveness of the Moneypenny live chatbot - including identifying trends and providing actionable insights to improve functionality and user experience;
- Responsible for monitoring all review platforms, ensuring timely responses and taking appropriate action when necessary;
- Maintain and update the Consumer Division's marketing database, ensuring accuracy and relevance;
- Assist the Consumer Division Marketing Manager with various day-to-day marketing duties;
- Support sourcing and ordering of promotional materials and giveaways.
The Person
We will be progressing applicants to the next stage based on their demonstrated knowledge, experience, and skills in:
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- have a Marketing or Business degree or equivalent marketing qualification;
- solid understanding of various social media platforms and experience with website management (CMS experience is a plus);
- knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and paid social media advertising strategies;
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva for creating marketing materials;
- familiarity with email marketing platforms, preferably DotDigital
- aligns with the Firms values;
- have creative flair and excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;
- have the ability to work as part of a team;
- have strong commercial awareness;
- have proven competence in their IT skills (Outlook, Word, and other systems experience);
- have good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- have an interest in long term development/progression in the department;
Desirable
- experience in photography, video editing and graphic design is a plus;
- familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) is highly desirable;
