About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic WordPress Developer with both front-end and back-end experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building websites in line with client objectives and coding signed off designs into WordPress. We offer remote working but there is an office in Stafford if you prefer to work from there.
What we’re offering…
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary £35,000 to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

- Remote or Hybrid working - we're happy to accommodate either but there will be the requirement to attend the office in Stafford a few times per year for team events.

Responsibilities:
- Interpreting website project briefs and building websites using Wordpress
- Create visually captivating website layouts and user interfaces.
- Build and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
- Work closely with clients and team members to understand project requirements and goals.
- Convert static designs into clean HTML and CSS.
- Work with our technical SEO team to enhance on-page optimisation.
- Conduct site audits and improve site performance.
- Conduct regular website updates, maintenance, and problem-solving.
- Stay up to date with current digital trends.
Ideal Candidate:
- Thorough understanding of the WordPress Template Architecture
- Solid grasp of responsive design principles and best practices.
- Understanding of WordPress Theme and Plugin Architecture
- Server, domain and DNS Management
- 6+ years Wordpress experience is essential in an agency environment
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Provide guidance and support to other developers & team members
- Manage Client expectations
