Description
We need someone who has the finger on the pulse of digital trends who will play a key part in supporting the retention and growth of our digital marketing client base. The work you do will help our independent dealers grow their businesses – selling more used vehicles, more profitably, more often.
You will be playing a key part in supporting the growth of the team, helping to achieve its commercial targets. You’ll work within our Digital Marketing team – you’ll be responsible for creating content, analysing data and reporting on your efforts but you will also have a strong team around you to bounce ideas off and work collaboratively on projects.
What a typical week looks like:
- You’ll be running reports and checking campaign analytics to see how your client’s digital marketing campaigns are performing.
- You’ll be creating campaigns, getting sign off from your accounts, and pushing content live. You’ll then adjust and adapt according to your data analysis.
- There will be client enquiries to answer via the phone and by email, administration tasks to ensure functionality of marketing activities including updating databases and spreadsheets and aiding the onboarding of new clients to the business.
- You’ll have regular catch ups with the digital marketing team to share ideas, discuss trends or changes, and review campaigns. You’ll also work with the sales team to support them as needed, and also with web development to make changes as needed.

Training to be provided
Marketing has become fundamental to the success of any modern business. Having an efficient and knowledgeable team is a must. Still, employers are beginning to realise they don't have to recruit from the top to bring this expertise into their business. There is plenty of hungry talent eager to prove their worth at an apprenticeship level. That's why we've created our Level 3 Multi-channel Marketing apprenticeship. We allow young talent to grow and fast-rising businesses the chance to futureproof their organisation.
Apprentify's Digital Marketing apprenticeships are designed to bring up-and-coming talent through the ranks of an organisation. Our programmes offer cost-effective solutions to employers while also giving apprentices industry experience. For example, our Level 3 Multi-channel Marketing apprenticeship equates to an A-Level qualification, with the added benefit of on-the-job experience and sector knowledge.
Multi-channel marketers will define, design, build and implement campaigns across a variety of platforms to drive customer engagement and retention. In addition, they will be responsible for parts of the campaign within their area of responsibility. As part of the Marketing team, they will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans and will have responsibility for elements of the overall marketing plan.
They will be the first point of contact for day-to-day activities in the marketing team and will be responsible for allocating higher levels of work to the management team. This role will work on their own and in a range of team settings. They work within agreed budgets and available resources. Multi-channel marketers work without high levels of supervision, usually reporting to senior stakeholders. They may occasionally be responsible for decision making on smaller areas of campaigns, but more often will support or influence the decisions of others.
The Multi-channel Apprenticeship programme covers:
- Branding
- Content Marketing
- Marketing Communications
- Campaign Management
- Adobe Creative Cloud
Key learning outcomes from the Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship include:
- Utilising design software to create high quality media assets
- Mastering technical marketing software including CMS and analytics platforms
- Understanding customer types in detail to maximise marketing ROI
- Effectively interpreting marketing briefs to delight clients
