QYOU is looking for an LA-based Influencer Sourcing & Casting Manager to join our growing, award-winning Influencer Marketing team. At QYOU we harness the power of creators and their communities for world-class influencer marketing / social media campaigns for leading brands and clients such as Paramount, HULU, Disney, OUAI, Ubisoft, CAPCOM, Warner Bros, Sony, and many more.
As an Influencer Sourcing & Casting Manager, you will assist a small team in identifying new talent and maintaining a database of existing talent to create custom lists that fulfill the specific criteria of each campaign, and cast the right set of creators to fit the creative and budgetary needs of each project. You will work closely with internal Integrated Marketing and Studios teams (including Talent, Production, Operations, etc) during both pre and post sale of a campaign, and report to the VP of QYOU Studios.
The right candidate will be highly organized and creative with experience in casting projects for a wide range of different genres & interests. The ability to handle multiple projects at the same time is essential, as is a proactive approach to problem solving and communicating with the wider teams. Ideal candidates also have direct experience in the social media/short form space and a passion for content creation. Candidates for this position are highly motivated, adaptable, self-assured team players with strong communication skills and willingness to learn. Hands-on production skills are a huge plus.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role requiring attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and ongoing projects within various stages of campaign execution.
*Please note that we are currently working remote but have occasional in-person content shoots. LA area location is preferred for on-site production and time zone alignment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify creators and compile talent lists that fit the criteria of each campaign.
- Cast campaigns with the correct mix of talent, in budget and in line with creative direction.
- Work with a small team of casting associates, delegating tasks and developing a positive creative environment.
- Communicate talent updates, both internally to wider teams and externally to clients.
- Track campaigns through multiple stages of execution, ensuring that talent selections are performing as intended.
- Maintain a database of talent contacts, pricing and other key info for wider company reference.
- Help draft talent instructions for creators, assist with mock videos where necessary.
- Contribute to on-location shoots with talent where necessary.
- Stay current on ongoing changes of major social platforms (e.g., posting specs, best practices) and their potential impact on creative deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience. Must be a quick learner and not be afraid to ask questions or for help
- Interest in entertainment (film, tv, gaming) and basic industry knowledge.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Hands-on production or live event coordination experience is a major plus.
- Basic knowledge of content creation and development processes and/or social media marketing on social platforms, especially TikTok.
