Roles and Responsibilities:
As the Group Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the ideation, creation, launching, and management of marketing campaigns across various channels. This role focuses on optimising marketing messages (digital marketing and email/SMS), improving conversion rates (lead to sale), and developing strategies to enhance customer engagement with Group’s brands. Additionally, you will perform customer research and segmentation and ensure effective communication with the Customer Account Managers to monitor lead quality and be clear on reactive marketing messages.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Campaigns Creation, Launching, and Management
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging a mix of digital, social media, events, and traditional marketing methods to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Identify new advertising and marketing platforms to expand reach and effectiveness.
- Manage email plans to craft content, schedule campaigns and respond to feedback.
- Oversee the digital marketing strategy for each Brand, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, CRO, and social media, to optimise campaign performance and achieve business KPIs.
2. Optimisation of Marketing Messages
- Optimise marketing messages, including the method of delivery and the content of the messages.
- Conduct optimisation and testing of messaging on landing pages to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
- Help to formulate each brand’s tone of voice, ensuring this is followed on every piece of comms.
3. Reporting and Metrics Analysis
- Reporting on marketing metrics, tracking from lead generation to conversion metrics from each platform and marketing initiatives.
- Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns, develop insights for improvement.
4. Customer Avatar Analysis
- Analyse customer avatars to understand their challenges and goals in order to community features and benefits around these insights.
- Ensure that the messaging resonates with the audience and demonstrates that we understand their problems and have solutions to solve them through our packages.
5. Creative Briefing
- Provide creative briefs to media marketing team to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
- Organise UGC campaigns by working closely with customers to capture their stories and successes.
6. Content Creation
- Lead creation and proof-reading of high-quality SEO content like articles and case studies
- Maintain relationships with business and media partners to encourage positive engagement and successful content pitches/PR
Key Attributes
- Proven experience in marketing management, with a track record of successful hands-on campaign development and execution.
- Excellent analytical skills to optimise marketing messages and improve conversion rates.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with other teams.
- Proactive approach to identifying new marketing opportunities and strategies.
- Ability to develop and implement successful lead generation and social media plans.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms: GA4, attribution reporting, CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce or similar), Canva or Creative Suite, advanced MS Office, SemRush (or similar), HootSuite (or similar), WordPress, CMS, Google Tag, email marketing (MailChimp, Marketo, Pardot or similar).
