As we embark on the next phase of our customer-centric, value creation journey, we are seeking a Customer Acquisition Executive (SEO, PPC) to drive our eCommerce strategy and performance. As part of our E-Commerce team, reporting to our Head of E-Commerce you’ll be accountable for acquiring new customers in a cost-effective way (CAC) by developing and implementing the SEO and PPC strategy and plan for our eCommerce websites.
Core Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search rankings and drive traffic. Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, and collaborate with development teams to enhance site performance and technical SEO.
- PPC Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and manage PPC campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and social media. Optimize ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to maximize ROAS and reduce CPC.
- Data Analysis & Optimization: Track and analyze key metrics, such as CAC, CTR, and conversion rates, using tools like Google Analytics to optimize campaigns and customer journeys.
- Customer Acquisition: Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies. Use remarketing and lookalike audiences to expand reach and achieve customer acquisition goals.
- Budget & Bid Management: Oversee budget allocation across SEO and PPC, ensuring efficient spend and high ROI. Adjust bid strategies to meet campaign targets.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with content, design, dev, and eCommerce teams to align strategies and campaigns with business objectives.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' SEO and PPC strategies, benchmarking performance and identifying opportunities to differentiate.
- Platform Management: Manage SEO and PPC tools such as Google Ads, SEMrush, and Google Analytics to enhance campaign performance.
- Reporting: Communicate performance insights to stakeholders and marketing teams to refine strategies and align on customer acquisition efforts.
The Performance Marketing Manager in this role must balance the long-term growth benefits of SEO with the immediate results of PPC, creating a cohesive acquisition strategy that maximizes customer engagement and eCommerce sales. The role is highly analytical, with a strong focus on metrics and continuous optimization to drive sustainable growth.
We are looking for someone who will bring their performance marketing expertise to elevate and scale our ecommerce business to be a multimillion-dollar success story. You will have a proven track record in doing so and will also demonstrate:
- Expertise in SEO and PPC Best Practices: Proficiency in online sales strategy, digital marketing, UX/UI, and P&L management
- Platform and Tool Management: Knowledge of SEO and PPC platform and tools and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
- Analytical Strength: Skilled in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to partner with other functions both in the E-Commerce Team and the wider corporate team.
- Passion for Gardening: Interest in horticulture or experience in a gardening-related business is a bonus!
