As our Retention Executive, you’ll take charge of implementing and executing diverse print retention campaigns, from direct mail to inserts, retargeting print campaigns, and more. You’ll work closely with our Head of E-Commerce and collaborate with digital marketing to deliver a cohesive, omni-channel customer experience. Your work will focus on achieving key retention goals by enhancing customer engagement and driving higher conversion rates, average order values, and customer lifetime value.
Core Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management & Execution: Plan and execute print campaigns such as Direct Mail, Off The Page Advertising, and Insert Campaigns, ensuring alignment with the investment strategy and ROAS targets.
- Partner & Agency Management: Negotiate with publications and advertising partners to enhance Customer Lifetime Value and strengthen our brand presence. Manage budgets and agency relationships to secure optimal rates and partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Brand Managers and Digital Marketing to maintain brand consistency across channels and reach shared goals.
- Data & Insights: Use data-driven insights to shape campaign strategies, optimize segmentation, and measure campaign success, making adjustments to achieve the best possible returns.
- Budget Management: Oversee the Off The Page and Direct Mail budgets, working closely with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.
We are looking for someone who has gained experience of direct mail marketing ideally within horticulture and/ or ecommerce. Omni-channel brand experience will be a distinct advantage. You will also demonstrate:
- A Commercial Mindset: Results-oriented with experience managing targets, budgets, and campaign spend.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Skilled in interpreting data insights to drive strategies that maximize engagement and retention.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Able to foster strong relationships internally and with external partners.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to managing complex campaigns and tracking outcomes.
