Job Title: Digital Marketing Apprentice
Location: Dunfermline (travel is expected)
Employment Type: 12 month apprenticeship followed by permanent position
Salary: £11.44 per hour before rising to £12.21 in April 2025
About GSM Electrical
GSM Electrical is an electrical services provider based in Fife, Scotland. They offer a comprehensive range of electrical solutions for domestic, commercial, and industrial clients, including design, installation, maintenance, testing, and fault diagnosis. Specialising in eco-friendly technologies, they provide services such as solar panel installations, battery storage solutions, and electric vehicle (EV) charging point installations.
Role Overview
This role is suited to someone with a creative mindset who is able to implement their own ideas into a marketing strategy. This role is perfect for someone who is keen to start their career in marketing and develop within a forward-thinking and welcoming working environment. You will be able to visit our working sites, create content and then share online, with the aim of raising the profile of GSM Electrical.
Please note for this role you must have a valid UK driving license and regular access to your own vehicle. Travel will be expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute a marketing strategy, including setting marketing goals, conducting regular analysis & develop a content plan.
- Attend on-site with our team and create content with them.
- Create and schedule content across multiple social media platforms.
- Manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis.
- Provide monthly reports on digital marketing analytics.
Skills
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva & Meta Business Suite (access to this will be provided).
- Knowledge of current marketing trends.
- Understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), TikTok & YouTube.
- Organised and be able to prioritise your time & schedule effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team, using strong communication skills.
- Have an interest in content creation & using your own creative mindset to create eye-catching & relevant content.
Experience
- Previous experience in a marketing role (preferred but not essential).
