Job Description: Ecommerce Manager
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Ecommerce Manager to oversee our online sales channels and drive the growth of our e-commerce business. As an Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the customer experience, increase online sales, and maximize profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer behavior in the online space.
Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute an overall e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify new opportunities for online growth and expansion, and create strategies to capitalize on them.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify emerging technologies, platforms, and tools that can enhance the e-commerce experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, IT, and operations, to align e-commerce initiatives with broader company strategies.
Website Management:
- Manage the company's e-commerce website, ensuring its functionality, user-friendliness, and optimization for search engines.
- Oversee product catalog management, including product information, pricing, and inventory availability.
- Monitor website performance, conduct A/B testing, and implement improvements to enhance conversion rates and customer experience.
- Collaborate with IT teams or external vendors to address technical issues and implement website updates and enhancements.
Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive website traffic, customer acquisition, and online sales.
- Optimize paid advertising campaigns across various channels, such as Google PPC, Facebook, Tik Tok
- Utilize SEO techniques to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing campaigns.
Customer Experience and Conversion Optimization:
- Ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience throughout the online shopping journey.
- Analyze user behavior and customer data to identify opportunities for improving website navigation, product discovery, and checkout processes.
- Implement strategies to reduce shopping cart abandonment and increase conversion rates.
- Optimize product presentation, descriptions, and imagery to enhance customer understanding and drive sales.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on e-commerce KPIs, such as sales performance, revenue, conversion rates, and customer retention.
- Conduct regular analysis of website and marketing performance, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize Google analytics tools and data to identify trends, customer segments, and areas for optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Ecommerce Manager or in a similar role, preferably with a premium brand which has a strong online presence.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, website management, and digital marketing techniques.
- Proficiency in Shopify and CMS tools.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing strategies.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce.
