Our global igaming client has a multi-million-pound search budget focused on the UK, Spain, Canada, and LATAM with plans to enter many new markets in Q4 and 2025.
The successful PPC Manager will be responsible for managing, optimising, and profitably scaling their PPC campaigns across multiple markets, but will focus on new markets such as Greece, Brazil and the USA.
The Role of PPC Manager
They are looking for an experienced and results-driven PPC Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will involve overseeing the development, execution, and optimisation of their paid search campaigns across various platforms and markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in PPC management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive paid search strategies across Google Ads, Bing Ads, ASA, and UAC platforms, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, analytics, and creative, to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable PPC initiatives.
- Campaign Optimisation: Conduct in-depth keyword research, ad copywriting, and ad extension optimisation to enhance campaign performance. Ensure continuous monitoring and analysis of campaign metrics, such as CTR, CPC, and conversion rates, to identify and act on optimisation opportunities.
- Testing and Experimentation: Implement A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies (such as Landing Page optimisation) to refine targeting and messaging strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Budget Management: Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure PPC efforts align with overall marketing goals and financial targets.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and new advertising features. Recommend and integrate innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to track, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI. Utilise data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and adjustments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates, insights, and detailed reports to stakeholders on campaign performance, optimisation efforts, and strategic recommendations.?
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in PPC campaign management, preferably in the gaming or e-commerce industry.
- Proven experience as a PPC Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of paid search strategies and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly driven with strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional multi-national teams.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, UAC, ASA, and related tools. Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies, such as LP development and testing.
- Knowledge of industry trends, algorithm updates, and new advertising features.
- Ability to manage budgets and forecasting processes effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- PPC experience in the Greek market is advantageous, but not mandatory
- Comfortable talking to, challenging, and influencing team members
