Job Description: We are seeking a talented and passionate Social Media Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating, planning, commissioning and managing high-quality content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for our social media channels.
- Content Calendar Planning: Strategically plan and manage a comprehensive content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across all platforms.
- Commissioning Content: Source and commission creators for videos and horoscopes, astrology articles, interviews, and features from expert contributors to enrich our app's offerings.
- Content Uploading: Upload and manage content, ensuring all materials are accurately presented and up-to-date.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content editor, community manager and other team members to align social media content with our overall vision and strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, editing, and management, preferably within the wellness or lifestyle sector.
- Strong understanding of astrology, meditation,and crystal healing practices.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to plan and manage a content calendar effectively.
- Experience in commissioning and managing contributions from creators.
- Familiarity with content management systems (Sprout and/or Hootsuite) and excellent understanding of current social media best practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh, engaging content ideas.
- Passion for holistic wellness and helping others achieve balance and harmony in their lives.
- Experience in writing and managing newsletters.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in the wellness industry.
- Experience with short form video content delivery.
