Apprentify are hiring on behalf of our client, who are seeking a motivated and driven Content & Graphic Designer Apprentice to join their friendly team and play a pivotal role in the design department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and effective designs for commercial clients. This is a fully remote position.
Our client have a dynamic design team working in the training and apprenticeship sector. With a young and energetic team of six, they specialise in providing comprehensive online and offline design solutions to their clients and internal customers. The design services range from responsive website design to branding projects, social media, brochures and SEO optimisation.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in graphic, content and website design, have a keen eye for detail, eager to learn and progress and have at least a 4/C in Maths and English GCSEs. Preferably, you will have a portfolio displaying your relevant experience/work.
Key duties will include:
- Design in Figma and Adobe: Create visually stunning designs using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma as the primary design tool.
- Print Design: Develop unique and impactful print materials that represent the essence of our company and clients’ brands.
- Responsive Website Design: Design responsive and user-friendly landing pages that align with the latest industry trends and client requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Designer, Marketing, and Commercial and teams to support campaigns and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Branding and Campaign Projects: Work on branding and campaign projects, ensuring consistency and a strong visual identity across various platforms.
- Social Media Graphics Templates: Create engaging and effective social media graphics templates to enhance our online presence.
- Paid and Social Media Assets: Generate a variety of design assets, including banners, ads, and other visuals for social media platforms.
- Internal Customer Communication: Engage in effective communication with internal departments, understanding their design needs, and presenting creative solutions professionally.
- Feedback & Iteration: Incorporate feedback from senior team members, making revisions to deliver high-quality, polished work
- Organisational Skills: Be organised and punctual in managing design projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction and maintain and organise design assets and templates for easy access and consistency
Entry requirements
- Grade C/level 4 in GCSE Maths and English for apprenticeship eligibility
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Final Cut/Premier Pro, After Effects & Figma would be beneficial
- As it is a fully remote position, the ability to be a self-starter and show initiative is essential

The primary duties we cover on our Content Creator apprenticeship are:
- Plan and develop creative content aligned with the brief and budget/costs.
- Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
- Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
- Develop and create written content for various media.
- Create visual and audio content for multiple media.
- Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
- Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.
