To help support our growing online presence, we are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team.
Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in creating and managing our social media presence. From initial concept development to content creation, scheduling, posting, and performance analysis, you will be instrumental in driving our online engagement and brand visibility across multiple businesses.
You will report directly to the Marketing Manager and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, impactful content.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Develop, execute, and refine social media strategies aligned with the business objectives across various platforms.
- Content Creation:
- Conceptualise and create engaging content, including graphics, short-form videos, photos, and written posts tailored to diverse audiences.
- Conduct on-site videography and photography sessions to capture authentic and impactful material.
- Scheduling & Publishing: Manage content calendars and ensure timely, consistent posting across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Community Management: Engage with online communities, respond to comments/messages, and foster relationships with audiences.
- Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to track and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align content with broader marketing initiatives and ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
- Innovation: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, recommending creative ideas and approaches.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/video editing software.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Hands-on experience with videography and photography, including editing.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or other social media analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and building brand engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
