We’ve grown our clients and communities to over 2 million followers and have hit 600 million video views in the last 12 months. Our team is comprised of TikTok✨obsessed✨experts, which helps us understand the platform better than anyone else. We apply our learnings to our clients’ accounts every day to help get banging results on TikTok. One thing’s for sure: no two days are the same at Nonsensical.
Vacancy Description: We’re looking for a superstar for our community Birmingham Updates. This role is a great way of learning what a TikTok agency is all about. This role is varied with a capital V. You’ll be creating content for our social channels, exploring the city, interviewing people on the street, editing, filming, presenting, and scriptwriting, it’s a little bit of everything to help you learn the content creation process. So if you love a bit of variety, are super confident on camera, love content creation and are obsessed with TikTok then this is the role for you. You’ll be able to travel around Birmingham to capture fun and thumb-stopping TikTok content for our clients and communities. You’ll be bursting with creativity and ideas and not afraid to share them no matter how crazy they are… We are called Nonsensical after all.
Opportunity: This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a team of passionate creatives, contributing to the growth of a leading global media agency. As an apprentice, you will gain direct insight into the day-to-day operations of a media startup, collaborating with innovative minds. You will be working on Birmingham Updates, one of Birmingham’s biggest social communities with over 800,000 followers across our channels. Our main goal is to continue to grow, especially in the TikTok space, which needs constant innovation and testing on our platforms… that’s where we hope you will come in.
The Role:
- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Attend and film in locations across Birmingham
- Present ongoing series
- Conduct interviews on the street
- Develop video content for communities and clients .
- Provide on-trend ideas for our clients and communities
- Provide support on broader video shoots for larger campaigns.
- Stay informed about TikTok trends and successful campaigns.
- Edit video content
- Be an ideas machine
- Participate in our weekly meme factory and ideas sessions

Skills Required:

Entry requirements
Applicants should be literate and numerate, with Grade C/4 and above in English and Maths. Demonstrated work examples and ideally experience with TikTok are desired.
Training to be provided
Content Creator Level 3 Standard
Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, money, and substantial opportunities for promotion.
Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:
