Job Description:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, creative person to join our team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice!
This is a great chance to learn on the job while gaining experience in different areas of digital marketing, like managing social media, updating websites, working with clients, and creating content. You’ll get lots of support and qualifications to help you grow your skills and work toward your career goals.

What you will do:
- Post fun and engaging content on our social media platforms
- Reply to comments and messages to keep followers engaged
- Track how well posts are doing and share what is working
- Help create and update websites using tools like WordPress
- Make sure websites look great and easy to use
- Fix problems that arise, and use your own initiative to problem-solve
- Contact clients by phone and email to tell them how we can help
- Keep track of new leads and follow up with them
- Set up contracts for new projects and check all the paperwork is correct
- Keep records and files neat and organised
- Use SEO techniques to help our content show up on Google
- Share creative ideas for new content with the team
The job is based in the office in Harrow five days a week initially, but there may be flexibility to work from home two days a week six months into the apprenticeship.
Person Specification:
This is a fantastic entry-level role for someone with a desire to build a career in the digital marketing field. However, we do want candidates that have some experience of WordPress or Elementor Pro - and expect you tooutline this in your cover letter.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- A genuine interest in digital marketing and a desire to build a career in this field
- Some experience with WordPress and Elementor Pro
- Creativity and enjoyment of designing for social media or websites using tools like Canva
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude, with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Basic knowledge of SEO (bonus if you have it, not required)
- Familiarity with SEMrush or Google Analytics (bonus if you have it, but not required)
Interviews for this apprenticeship are likely to take place in mid-January.
Training and support:
During this apprenticeship, you will study towards a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship, spending plenty of paid time learning the theory of great marketing whilst getting paid!
Plus, on the job, you'll get involved in lots of different forms of marketing including webdesign, SEO and social media management. Once you've got the basics of each marketing discipline, AMAX Marketing will help you to specialise in a marketing discipline that best suits you.
