Reporting to the Head of Consumer Engagement and Communications the Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing, PR and Digital ecommerce teams, whilst managing the Social Media Executive.
The main purpose of this role is to improve brand equity, clarity and consideration, ensuring the consumer sees one brand across all omnichannel consumer touch points and channels.
Drive consumer demand and traffic across all brand channels – Retail, Web, Sell In Wholesale and Web Partners. As part of the Consumer Engagement team, ensure day to day alignment of the marketing calendar and consumer engagement activities across all channels: earned (PR and influencers), owned (Organic Social) and paid media (Paid Social, OOH and print).
Drive step change in awareness and consideration growth to drive total brand including Retail and Web traffic across Paid Social and Organic Social. Whilst supporting the wider business in extra digital activities, build close relationship with external companies such as Google, Pinterest, Meta and TIKTOK
Day to day management of the digital media agency alongside the performance marketing manager for the implementation of Awareness and Consideration paid media campaigns, (YouTube, Meta and TIKTOK)
- Manage the implementation of the Social strategy, keep activity calendars up to date, track and execute work in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure that messaging and targeting is always in line with our brand’s marketing plans and the wider business plans.
- Define the strategy across paid social media channels, to drive increased awareness and consideration of the brand with the end goal of enhancing brand clarity
- Manage the budget alongside the Head of Consumer Engagement and Communications and Performance Marketing Manager
- Adapt budget depending on campaign performance and new ideas, aiming to keep fluidity between awareness, consideration and conversion where needed.
- Drive overall brand goal to step change and improve consideration metrics.
- Work with the Performance marketing manager to ensure good feed health with feed manager
- Work with the Performance marketing manager to ensure creatives flow well across the funnel
- Support on any new pixels that may need to be implemented on site to enhance performance with internal and external agencies
- Work with CRM to ensure data segments are refreshed regularly
- Set clear KPI’s for each campaign and share insights to wider teams on things like brand lift surveys to see impact
- Responsible for delivering and presenting reports and presentations to key stakeholders
- Responsible for analysing results and competitor activity
- Weekly and Monthly forecast of revenue and Traffic with agency
- Weekly calls with agency to question and understand results alongside the Performance marketing manager
- Work with internal creatives and external creative teams to create new ways of communicating to our customers through visuals
- Assess and manage Community management tools to support reach and reviews
- Sourcing brand partners to collaborate with on launches/core focuses?
- Work closely with the PR Team and boost content where appropriate to enhance reach, engagements, traffic and share PR coverage where relevant across social media channels
Analyse performance of social media platforms on various KPIs, including channel growth, impressions, reach, engagements, traffic and conversions on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Identify innovative social media campaigns and initiatives in support of key launches or campaigns.
- Drive test and learn and keep evolving campaign structures.
- Share insights with wider teams and present results to senior team members.
- Challenge and create a test and learn strategy on visuals and provide information to international on results
- Familiarise yourself with new trends in the market to ensure creative is leaning in to industry trends alongside shorter term trends set by platforms like TIKTOK
Work with relevant agencies to create campaigns, grow and develop content for paid and organics social media while sharing content to CRM teams to utilise.
Manage the Social Media Executive – providing guidance, daily and ongoing tasks and priorities, giving clear and constructive feedback and aiding in their personal development Together execute a organic social media strategy on the different platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, Tik Tok and Instagram) that supports the business focuses and works closely to align with the PR calendar.
- Brainstorm with PR, Digital and customer care team for weekly content
- Work with content creators and also create local content to be used on organic
- Support posting on weekends
- Analyse any key trends or insights happening on social to influence campaigns
- Ensure the organic social media calendar is aligned with what will be planned for paid social where relevant and also Paid Search to ensure key launches and wider business objectives are met.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders - Marketing, Wholesale and PR to execute a 360 campaign
- Pro-active individual with a experience and passion for digital marketing and beauty
- Experience with meta, TikTok and You Tube is essential for this role and, ideally, someone who has experience with TikTok Shop
- Creative and analytical skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office most importantly Excel.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Basic Photoshop skills (e.g. creation of ads for key social, display promotions)

- Able to demonstrate leadership skills and has previous team management experience as well as stakeholder management experience
