- Support the MCB Press Office in media relations and outreach activities.
- Draft articles, reports, and briefings on various issues affecting the Muslim community.
- Assist in building and maintaining effective communication channels with parliamentarians and policymakers.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies to combat Islamophobia.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, learning from their expertise and expanding your network.
- Social Media Posting: Develop and implement social media strategies to amplify the MCB’s presence and reach across multiple platforms. Create and schedule engaging posts that inform, educate, and inspire our audience.
- Social Media Calendar Management: Maintain a well-organised social media calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery. Plan and schedule posts, campaigns, and relevant events in advance, coordinating with other team members and departments.
- Event, Project, and Campaign Coverage: Work closely with the MCB’s events, projects, and campaigns teams to provide effective social media coverage. Capture and share key moments, achievements, and updates to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Engage with Audience: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms promptly and professionally. Foster meaningful dialogue, build relationships, and represent the MCB’s values and principles.

You will be able to design a working pattern that suits you, your family, the needs of the job and the team, however you will need to consider that most of the staff remain based in London, and as a result, some travel into central London will be required on a monthly basis in order to build and maintain those crucial relationships.
