Marketing Specialist Role Description
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing English school, based in central London, with branches in Spain. This position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in digital marketing who is eager to manage and optimize paid campaigns on platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads), Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, and contribute to SEO strategies. The role also involves familiarity with CRM tools to support lead management and campaign tracking.
As part of the team, you will assist the Marketing Manager with tasks related to campaign execution, analytics, and reporting while supporting the creation of engaging content for social media and other digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Manager in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns.
- Manage and track paid ad campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok, ensuring strong ROI.
- Contribute to SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, and improving site performance.
- Use CRM tools to manage customer data, track leads, and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Create engaging content for social media, including copywriting, designing visuals, and editing short-form videos.
- Analyze campaign metrics (CTR, CPC, ROAS, conversions, etc.) and prepare performance reports.
- Assist in the creation and optimization of website content and newsletters.
- Help grow and engage our social media communities through creative strategies.
- Propose and implement improvements to campaigns and website functionality based on data insights.
- Provide customer support, both online and offline, when necessary.
Requirements
Essential
- 1+ year of experience in marketing or social media roles.
- Knowledge of paid advertising platforms like Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
- Basic understanding of SEO and experience with keyword research and content optimization.
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Ability to create and edit social media content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Desirable
- Previous experience in the education sector, ideally in an English school environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Mailchimp, or WordPress.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
