We are expanding our digital footprint and are looking for an innovative and strategic Social Media & PR Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving our social media strategy, amplifying our brand voice, and elevating our presence through strategic PR initiatives.
The Role
The Social Media & PR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing Goddiva’s social media strategy across all platforms while spearheading public relations efforts to enhance brand visibility and reputation. This dual managerial role involves setting the vision for our social media presence, collaborating with the creative team to develop content, managing influencer relationships, and leading an overseas team to ensure seamless content scheduling, posting, and community engagement. Additionally, this role will involve developing and managing PR campaigns, nurturing media relationships, and ensuring brand alignment across all external communications.
The role will also require close collaboration with external agencies to manage social media pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. The Social Media & PR Manager will be responsible for monitoring PPC results, providing approvals, and ensuring that the overall strategy aligns with Goddiva’s marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Create and implement a robust social media strategy tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.), in line with brand goals and market trends.
- Public Relations Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy, including press releases, media outreach, and managing PR agencies to drive coverage in relevant media outlets.
- Media & Influencer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with fashion and lifestyle journalists, bloggers, and influencers to promote Goddiva's products and campaigns.
- Content Creation & Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to conceptualize, plan, and produce engaging content, including visuals and videos, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Influencer Marketing & Partnerships: Identify, engage, and collaborate with influencers to promote brand campaigns, ensuring partnerships are mutually beneficial.
- Team Management: Oversee an overseas team responsible for scheduling posts, responding to messages, and managing the community, ensuring effective execution of the social media calendar.
- Platform Optimization & Analytics: Analyze social media metrics to refine strategies, optimize performance, and report results to senior management.
- PR Campaign Management: Plan and execute strategic PR campaigns, manage product launches and events, and leverage PR opportunities to increase brand visibility.
- Crisis Management & Brand Reputation: Act as a point of contact during any PR crises, ensuring the brand is represented consistently and professionally in all communications.
- PPC Campaign Coordination: Collaborate with external agencies to manage and optimize social media PPC campaigns. Provide approvals, review performance, and ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a detailed content calendar for timely and consistent posting.
- Community Engagement: Develop strategies for audience engagement and growth, responding to comments, messages, and reviews authentically.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, design, and e-commerce teams to integrate social media and PR activities with broader campaigns.
Technical Requirements
- Google Analytics: In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics to monitor website traffic, set up custom reports, and analyze user behavior to improve social media and PR strategies.
- Google Tag Manager: Proficiency in using Google Tag Manager to implement and manage tracking tags for better insights into campaign performance.
- Google Marketing Platform: Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform, including Campaign Manager and Display & Video 360, to optimize digital campaigns.
- Social Media Management Tools: Experience with tools such as Hootsuite, Later, and Sprout Social for content scheduling and performance analysis.
- SEO & SEM: Basic understanding of SEO and SEM best practices to support social media and PR strategies.
- Reporting & Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using tools like Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, and other platform-specific dashboards to track campaign performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management and public relations, ideally within the fashion industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing past successes.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proven track record in developing and executing PR campaigns.
- Strong media and influencer network within the fashion and lifestyle sector.
- Experience collaborating with external agencies for PPC campaign management.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to inspire an overseas team.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data and adjust strategies.
- Proficiency with social media management tools and Google platforms (Analytics, Tag Manager, Marketing Platform).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
