About the Department
Goldsmiths’ Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies is one of the longest established departments for teaching and researching media in the world. About the Role
The role holder will be expected to primarily contribute to postgraduate teaching on our MA Media and Communications programme and related options modules and should have taught previously on postgraduate media, communications and cultural studies modules. The successful applicant will have a strong working knowledge of current theoretical debates in media, communications and cultural studies, with specific expertise in social media and/or platform studies.
About the Candidate
You will have completed or are nearing completion of a PhD in an area related to media, communications and cultural studies. You will have experience teaching and marking at postgraduate level and a willingness to take on MA-level supervision, pastoral care and administrative duties.
