The Head of Marketing position will join the leadership team and will be responsible for shaping the future marketing strategy of the agency itself, helping to facilitate their growth across multiple channels and markets.
The role requires an experienced Marketing individual that will help to raise the Agency’s brand visibility, helping to drive their growth within the App marketing agency space. Leading the internal marketing team, this role will work strategically and tactically to promote the agency directly, working collaborative within the business to drive brand exposure and lead generation.
To be a suitable candidate, it is essential that you have previously worked in a Marketing role within a creative agency, with at least 2 years at a managerial level. You will need to be able to demonstrate digital marketing experience across strategy, managing a healthy marketing budget to incorporate event management, SEO & Content creation, CRM Management, brand exposure and social media.
This hybrid role is Centrally based in Zone 1 and requires you to be in the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop & execute a robust event strategy; encompassing owned, sponsored and co-marketing events
- Ensure effective website optimisation resulting in increased conversion rates; working with/managing the external agency relationships to implement UX enhancements, content improvements& technical updates
- Manage the SEO through content and strategy to drive search exposure & improve traffic (to incl blog posts, whitepapers and award writing)
- Manage a data driven approach to website performance
- Drive & optimise the Agency’s visibility on directory platforms
- Strengthen partnerships to drive co-marketing opportunities, building the brand profile
- Lead and mentor the talented internal marketing team, ensuring high performance and collaboration
- Utilise data insights to measure the impact of campaigns, events and website performance
Candidate Specification:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a marketing role, with at least 2 years in a leadership/senior position
- Creative/Digital Agency experience is essential (ideally app or digital marketing agency)
- Proven experience of Campaign & Event Management, being able to strengthen brand presence
- Solid background in SEO, UX, and improving website conversion
- Strategic & detail orientated
- Exceptional communication – strong written English & verbal skills
- Able to define and implement effective processes, technologies and skills for smooth delivery and long term growth
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative & adaptable approach
- Previous team management
