We’re looking for a Marketing Officer (Content) to play a pivotal role in the marketing and recruitment strategy for our MBA and MSc Financial Management programmes. Working closely with our MBA Recruitment Team and other stakeholders, you’ll craft engaging, accessible, and innovative content that captures the essence of AMBS and inspires prospective students from across the globe.
What you’ll do
- Content creation: Develop multi-channel marketing content, from web and email campaigns to social media, podcasts, and videos, to support MBA and MSc recruitment.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external agencies to ensure content is on-brand, engaging, and effective.
- Website coordination: Keep programme pages fresh and optimised for SEO, ensuring accuracy in content, dates, and pricing.
- Campaign support: Leverage CRM systems (Salesforce) to develop targeted email campaigns and nurture prospective leads.
- Thought leadership: Collaborate with academics to produce content that positions AMBS as a leader in business education.
- Programme promotion: Enhance brand awareness, drive enquiries, and help achieve recruitment targets.
Induction & onboarding
Your journey begins with an in-depth three-month induction programme, where you’ll work closely with our MBA Recruitment Team. During this time, you’ll learn about our programmes by shadowing colleagues and immersing yourself in the student recruitment journey. This hands-on experience will provide the insights you need to create impactful marketing content and ensure a seamless start in your role.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience creating multi-channel marketing content.
- Strong knowledge of CMS, CRM (Salesforce desirable), and email platforms.
- Outstanding communication skills, including copywriting and editing.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality in all content.
- A good understanding of SEO-optimised content and accessibility guidelines.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with up-to-date marketing knowledge.
