Our client is a leading commercial insurance broker dedicated to helping businesses safeguard their operations and thrive. Specialising in tailored insurance advisory, they deliver practical guidance to protect against uncertainties and foster resilience across niche industries, such as media, entertainment, technology and agency sectors.
Job Purpose: To work with the Directors and Account Handlers to plan, develop, create and evaluate marketing strategy, content and social media for the business.
1. Marketing
As a Marketing Apprentice, you will play a key role in driving our marketing strategy and use innovative approaches to raise our brand awareness. This will include planning, developing, creating and evaluating marketing content for the business.
Your job responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):
- Brainstorming new and creative ideas, you will be instrumental in taking our marketing activities to the next level.
- Researching, planning and developing content ideas with support from the wider team.
- Innovating and presenting new marketing, content, digital and social media strategies.
- Working closely with the team to successfully facilitate events with relevant partners and the wider network.
- Driving, executing and and supporting content marketing strategies including social media, website, blog, SEO and more.
- Increasing traffic to the website and company pages.
- Creatively developing engaging online content including videos, graphics, and written copy.
- Uploading and editing content on company websites.
- Measuring and reporting performance of content and marketing campaigns, assessing against goals, using relevant sites such as Google Analytics.
- Keeping abreast of new social media sites, technologies, and digital marketing trends and insights; making recommendations and implementing new technologies and insights for developing campaigns.
- Support the business in arranging, hosting and attending own industry events for marketing purposes.
- To provide management information and reports to the Directors as required.
- To maintain an effective diary system.
2. Personal Development: To develop existing skills and to acquire or improve other skills and knowledge.
- To identify where new skills can be acquired and existing skills improved.
- To maintain a continuous development plan, agreed and reviewed by your line manager.
- To be reviewed at regular intervals under the performance management and annual appraisal system.
- To confirm to a standard of personal conduct including appearance and behaviour as designated.
- To attend external or internal courses as directed by your line manager.
- To adhere to the apprentice plan including studying towards professional qualifications.
3. General
- To complete any other reasonable duty, as requested by the Company from time to time, in accordance with the needs of the business.
4. Company Property and Premises
- Protection of Employees and Company assets:
- To maintain a tidy, safe and pleasant working area. Highlight deficiencies, breakages and omissions to line management, keeping a record of such communications.
- To protect company property and assets from damage, theft or loss.

Entry requirements
5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
Training to be provided
The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.
