We are looking for an Marketing manager with a bias toward Email Marketing and a strong background in online retail to join our busy team and lead the delivery of marketing and promotional plans to grow the business, acquire new customers and raise awareness of The Sewing Studio brand. This role is based in our office in Redruth Cornwall, remote will not be considered.
The role will include:
- Creating a calendar of engaging on brand content and lead the implementation of the customer marketing strategy.
- Coordinate with other departments to align marketing initiatives.
- Create high quality email campaigns using a results-driven approach.
- Use customer data to segment and maximise results.
- Perform testing on emails (e.g. subject line, content A/B testing).
- Work with the Ecommerce Manager in producing high converting landing pages.
- Monitor and improve transactional emails (e.g. order emails).
- Analyse market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
We are a small team so flexibility is key. You’ll be required to support in trade and ecommerce management when necessary such as making updates to the website and feed into the content creation. Training will be provided where necessary. You don’t need to know how to sew however a passion for our customer is essential.
About You:
- Email Marketing (we currently use Klaviyo) - 3 years (essential)
- Social media (essential)
- Graphic design, predominantly using Adobe tools to provide visual assets that can be used for website and marketing campaigns (essential)
- Online Retail experience (essential)
- Team work, communication, passion for customer experience (essential)
- Ability to effectively analyse performance and present evidence of the best approaches.
- Experience writing high converting copy and subject lines.
- Good knowledge and use of analytics tools to drive performance.
- High attention to detail and takes responsibility for the accuracy of their work.
- Excellent numeracy skills, with strong analytical capabilities. Strong data mindset and inclination towards fact-based decisions. Hands on experience defining and selecting customer audiences.

Education - degree or further education qualification (desirable)
Starting salary up to £35k depending on experience, with potential growth based on performance.
