About the Role
You are joining the team to connect with key decision-makers at prospective businesses who would thrive with our immersive marketing strategies. You’ll build genuine relationships, understand their unique challenges, and demonstrate how our bespoke solutions can elevate their brand and drive business growth. Your role is to inspire and influence, guiding them towards a partnership that unlocks their full potential through our creative and digital expertise.
The right people may be experienced business development professionals with a proven track record of success in the marketing industry, who can demonstrate their ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth within agencies or similar environments.
You will be selling a bespoke set of deliverables that empowers businesses to achieve their goals through innovative marketing strategies and a collaborative approach. Deliverables may include but are not limited to: Video content creation, Social Media services, online newsletters, SEO, PPC, creative design, photography and campaign work. Monthly client retainers will be a minimum of £3,000.
Success in your first year looks like:
- You will have brought in over £360k in annual sales e.g. 10 Clients @ £3k per month
- You will be actively working to exceed your targets and take pride in your achievements
- You will have built an excellent knowledge of our solutions and how they help solve our customers challenges
- You will look to develop our deliverable packages based on client/market feedback
To achieve this, you will:
- Generate your own leads through direct prospecting, networking, partnerships, cold outreach.
- Build relationships with your prospects through calls, face-to-face meetings, and video meetings
- Demonstrate our solutions, concisely, and relevant to all new prospects
- Utilise our CRM system to track progress, create sales forecasts, and manage client interactions
- Create and present professional pitches for prospective clients
- Work independently and collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team, organising and prioritising tasks under pressure.
- Research and explore new business opportunities
Reward
Your annual salary is £40,000 and your sales target is £360k.
You will get 10% commission on annual sales, this is uncapped.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in a marketing or creative agency
- Proven experience generating your own leads
- Demonstrated ability to prospect new business, including cold outreach and LinkedIn engagement.
- Have the ability to fully understand client pain-points, and articulate how our solutions will positively impact the brands and businesses we work with.
- Excellent organisational skills, timekeeping, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Advantageous Criteria
- Proven experience of exceeding £300k in sales targets
- Sales & Marketing background in a customer-facing sales role, particularly in B2B sales (2-year minimum).

You will be working with our three Directors and have the support of our delivery team.
Your Environment
This is a hybrid role, with the ability to work out of our office in Chelmsford.
We would require you to attend the office once per fortnight to provide face to face updates and liaise with the team
