Job Title: General Manager, Private Healthcare

Role Insight
Our client provides world-class patient care in Nottingham. They are looking to recruit an experienced General Manager to provide leadership of their Nottingham hospital to meet its future aims and objectives within a quality-driven, efficient, safe, profitable and effective working environment.
This is the number one leadership position within the hospital. It holds overall accountability for its performance and encompasses Team/People Leadership, Business Development, Financial Performance, Marketing and Procurement. The role requires a proactive manager, capable of proposing and delivering solutions across a multitude of operational and commercial areas.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for the management and delivery of business development, patient and customer service, P&L management, HR, administration, facilities, capex, marketing, procurement and all non-clinical services.
- To develop strategic plans and commercial opportunities
- To prepare, develop and implement business plans and growth strategies including commercially viable new income streams and cost-control programmes
- To prepare annual business plan and annual budgets (including annual marketing plans)
- To work with the Regional Marketing Manager to ensure that localised Marketing is planned out and agreed in advance, as per the budget. (Using digital marketing and traditional marketing where appropriate).
- To prepare the monthly business report in a timely manner.
- Work with senior managers in the business to form a cohesive management team capable of driving the business forward.
- To maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisational standards.
- Delivering unrivalled patient satisfaction through delivering company values of care, customer experience, passion, trust and innovation.
Person Specification:
· Senior Manager / General Manager within healthcare, wellness, retail or leisure considered
· Experience of Operational Leadership in a single-site or multi-site capacity
· Commercially minded with expertise in Business Development and growth
· Exceptional People Leadership ability
· Proven experience in working in fast-paced, agile environments
· B2C experience highly advantageous
Terms and Conditions
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week working 5 days per week on site.
Salary: Up to £70,000 per year dependant on experience
Holidays: 27 days plus 8 statutory bank and public holidays
