Responsible to: Sales Manager
Overall Aim: We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and promote our brand. This role requires a keen understanding of various social media platforms, trends, and analytics to effectively communicate our message and connect with our target audience. Assist the Sales Manager with all aspects of the sales administration.
Tasks:
Ø Assist the Sales Manager with updating the company website and adding/amending stock as necessary.
Ø Creating weekly social media posts to promote new stock in the Plant Centre and on the webshop.
Ø Answer the telephone and deal with emails.
Ø Deal with requests for copies of the company availability lists.
Ø Assist in the preparation of the Stock Availability Lists and Mail Shots.
Ø Ensure that incoming customers’ orders are processed and acknowledged within the target timescales.
Ø Produce all relevant paperwork to complete customers’ orders as necessary
Ø File all relevant paperwork as necessary.
Ø Undertake other such duties as may be requested from time to time by the Directors and Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for engagement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
Good administration skills and ability to work accurately and methodically.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
