We now have an exciting opportunity to join a unique job share as Director of Marketing & Digital. is central to CRUK’s transformation journey, focusing on evolving our marketing efforts to be more digitally integrated and audience focused. This role will be instrumental in driving the adoption of new technologies, enhancing our digital presence, and ensuring that our marketing strategies are aligned with the needs and expectations of our supporters. We know that flexibility is important and we pride ourselves on the level of flexibility we are able to offer. This role provides a great opportunity to shape the leadership of the department alongside an incumbent senior leader.
What will I be doing?
Drive the digital transformation of MFE marketing and the wider organisation, fostering an audience-led, agile, and innovative culture.
Design and manage the delivery system for digital, from advertising to audience action, for all areas of CRUK.
Oversee the implementation of new MarTech and content solutions, ensuring seamless integration and adaptation over the transformation journey.
Define and manage CRUK’s brand positioning and standards based on a detailed understanding of audience motivations and needs, enhancing brand reputation and building brand equity.
Plan and deliver compelling e2e marketing campaigns and journeys for CRUK, that position our brand and propositions to mass audience, inspiring action and support for our mission.
Guide the marketing and digital teams through a significant cultural and capability shift towards a genuinely audience-centric approach. Ensure the teams are confident and capable in their audience-led strategies, and continuously drive innovation and adaptability.
What are you looking for?
Skilled in creation of a Performance Marketing culture and system, working across agencies, data, content and performance management.
A proven marketing leader with extensive experience in driving audience-centric strategies across all channels, including ATL, direct, digital, performance, and journey marketing.
Skilled in translating strategic vision into detailed execution plans, ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with CRUK’s mission and deliver measurable impact.
Strong creative judgment with a deep understanding of brand positioning and standards
Proven track record of driving digital innovation, creating personalized supporter experiences, and leveraging digital channels to maximize engagement and brand impact.
Significant experience leading large, multi-level teams and managing substantial income and expenditure budgets within high-profile organizations or brands.
