This role is part of the Faculty of Brain Sciences Marketing and Communications team, delivering strategic communications and marketing for the Faculty and its divisions and institutes. The Faculty provides teaching and research in a wide range of subject areas to over 4,00 students each year from across the world. The Faculty Office provides effective management to its divisions and institutes, with over 1,600 staff across the Faculty as a whole. The Senior Digital Manager will lead the digital function for the Faculty, with responsibility for the Faculty’s web estate (currently 48 websites). The Faculty includes the following divisions and institutes: • Division of Psychology & Language Sciences • Queen Square Institute of Neurology • Division of Psychiatry • Institute of Ophthalmology • Ear Institute • Institute of Prion Diseases
The Senior Digital Manager, Faculty of Brain Sciences, plays a fundamental role in student recruitment activities and communicating the Faculty’s research work. The post holder has particular responsibility for: producing and implementing a website strategy; managing the website day-to-day; supporting the planning and evaluating Google AdWords; developing monitoring and evaluation measures to track return on investment of digital channels. The Digital Marketing Manager will lead a large project to overhaul and migrate the Faculty of Brain Sciences and Divisions websites to Drupal 10, to streamline information and become more audience focused with clearer user journeys. The post holder will have vision, to take a lead in developing new initiatives, and in seeking new opportunities establish the Faculty of Brain Sciences position through cut-through digital marketing and communications.
