The Role:
We’re looking for a proven Head of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing strategy for Lumon, focusing predominantly on our Private division, but this role will also encompass our Corporate strategy. You will be responsible for owning strategy and budgeting across paid media, social, affiliates and developing our SEO and Content PR channels.
You will lead a team responsible for planning, developing and delivering against the digital marketing strategy, developing our performance marketing capability to drive acquisition growth and gain market share for the business. You will also be heavily involved in the overall development of the Lumon website, focusing on developing our digital proposition.
This is a critical role for the business and you’ll be fully emersed in the short term trading and long term strategy development to deliver the next phase of growth for Lumon. You can expect high levels of access and exposure to executive leadership and ongoing professional development support in a collaborative, supportive and inclusive team & culture.
Role and Responsibilities:
Lead the Lumon Digital Marketing team, developing a best-in-class team, who bring together expertise in digital marketing strategy to support Lumon’s growth strategy.
- Direct line management responsibility for Lumon’s Performance Marketing Manager, SEO Manager, and SEO Content Manager.
- Develop our performance marketing capability across audience driven paid search, social media & affiliate networks.
- Ensure our digital tracking, BI & reporting infrastructure is best in class and fully integrated with business reporting.
- Develop & drive our SEO & content capability and building our organic traffic profile significantly to reduce CAC.
- Working in conjunction with the Partnership team, develop our digital partnership marketing capability and diversify our performance marketing mix for increased profit growth and ROI.
- Partner with Product, and Content on the development of the Lumon website, providing counsel and digital expertise to ensure a test and learn approach optimises lead conversion and the supports the development of Lumon’s digital strategy.
- Partner with CRM to ensure our direct-to-consumer marketing strategy ensure cost efficient acquisition and increased LTV through improved retention and engagement.
- Where appropriate, engage our agency partnerships across all areas of digital marketing and ensure the right balance of in house and external support to ensure we develop best in class digital capability.
- Work in partnership with the Marketing, Product, Technology and Sales teams to continuously improve the Lumon customer proposition.
- Develop the digital marketing strategy for the separate pillars of the Lumon business, Private clients and Corporate Clients, ensuring the digital strategy is tailored to support the different business areas.
We are looking for someone who:
- Extensive experience in related Digital Marketing roles, with a demonstrable track record in shaping and delivering a brand’s Digital Marketing strategy, with hands on experience across various elements of the Digital Marketing process.
- Proven track record of recruiting, leading and developing high performing teams.
- Proven experience of putting customer at the heart of data driven decision making and supporting weekly optimisation of commercial performance.
- Experience working and managing agency relationships to enhance marketing capabilities.
- Commercially savvy, with a bias for action.
- Excellent relationship builder, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in a financial services environment is a plus, but exposure to any fast paced, data rich, direct to consumer digital business is relevant experience.
