Up Learn is on the lookout for a talented Email & Content Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time, freelance basis. You will play a crucial role in creating engaging and conversion-driven emails for our diverse audience segments, including teachers, schools, parents, and students. Beyond email marketing, you'll contribute to content initiatives that support our broader engagement, thought leadership, and outbound marketing efforts, with a focus on B2B channels.

About You
You are a highly capable, driven, and hands-on professional with at least 3 years of experience in email and content marketing. You thrive when given the autonomy to manage projects from start to finish and are confident working independently to deliver high-quality results. You bring a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a passion for creating impactful campaigns that engage and convert audiences.

Responsibilities
- Email Campaigns: Plan, write, and execute email marketing campaigns for multiple audience segments (teachers, schools, parents, and students), ensuring high engagement, open rates, and conversions
- Newsletter Creation: Develop monthly newsletters to keep our audience informed and engaged
- Data-Driven Strategy: Conduct A/B testing, track performance metrics, and use data insights to optimize campaigns for engagement and revenue growth
- Content Development: Create and refine content for B2B marketing efforts, including thought leadership articles, website copy, and targeted promotions
- Cross-Platform Marketing: Support marketing initiatives across social media (Twitter, LinkedIn) and optimize the content on our website
- CRM Management: Use Hubspot (preferred) or similar CRM tools to manage email lists, track audience engagement, and execute segmentation strategies
- SEO and Web Content: Ensure content is optimized for search engines and supports overall marketing strategies, leveraging SEO techniques where possible
Requirements
- Proven experience in email marketing and content writing
- A track record of delivering exceptional open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates
- Ability to use data to inform and optimize marketing strategies, including A/B testing and performance analysis
- Proficiency in CRM tools, with Hubspot experience being a strong plus
- Excellent communication, planning, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and managing content
- Confident using social media platforms, especially Twitter and LinkedIn, to drive engagement
- Ideal but not essential:
- Experience creating content for the UK education market
- Basic SEO knowledge and experience optimising content for search engines
