We're a family business of just over 100 people and you'd be working in the London office with four other marketeers. We're a social, friendly crowd who have a good laugh and, obviously, our office is full of plants. 🪴
If you join us as a Digital Marketing Executive, you'd be responsible for generating leads via the Plant Plan website.
This position will execute digital marketing initiatives, manage content across multiple platforms, carry out both technical and content-based SEO, set up and run PPC campaigns, and analyse campaign data to support strategic decision-making. With a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and practices, the Digital Marketing Executive will ensure consistent, data-driven, and engaging content aligns with our brand’s identity and objectives.
Skills & Attributes Required:
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Solid experience and understanding of SEO, PPC, content creation, and digital marketing tools. Familiarity with key digital platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to monitor and interpret marketing data, extract actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Organisation & Detail-Oriented: Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactivity & Adaptability: Self-motivated, adaptable to changing priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Approach: Team player with excellent communication skills, able to work closely with the Head of Marketing and other team members to support wider marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Content Management:
- Plan, create, and schedule content for blogs, social media, and other digital channels to ensure consistent brand messaging. You will have support with the creation aspect of the role from other team members, for example, writing content, scheduling social posts, and creating photographic and video content. However, you will need to ensure the content calendar is adhered to.
- Maintain a content calendar and work with relevant teams to ensure timely publication of all digital content.
SEO & PPC Management:
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO to boost search visibility and website traffic.
- Coordinate with external developer to improve and maintain technical SEO
- Manage PPC campaigns, optimising for performance and budget efficiency to drive brand awareness and conversions.
Data & Analytics:
- Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance metrics using tools such as GA4 to provide insights on engagement, conversions, and ROI.
- Produce actionable recommendations based on data to support continuous digital strategy improvement.
Marketing Operations & Automation:
- Organise digital marketing activities and help maintain the marketing calendar, ensuring smooth execution of campaigns.
- Support the automation of repetitive marketing tasks, such as email campaigns, to streamline operations.
Collaborative Support:
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to execute the digital strategy.
- Provide input on digital initiatives and contribute ideas to support innovation and brand evolution.
Essential Platform Experience:
- Google Ads
- GA4
- Google Search Console
- Semrush or Ahrefs
- HubSpot preferred, not mandatory
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 to 17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break
Key Performance Metrics:
- Achieve 15 website leads per week
- Achieve #1 SERP position for 3 keywords
- Maintain a positive ROI on PPC spend
