The primary purpose of the Digital Learning Experience Specialist is to support the strategic implementation and management of learning technologies within Bupa. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organisation leverages the value and opportunity presented by existing and future partnerships to enhance the learning and development experiences of employees.
The role
The Learning Technology Specialist will support with the integration, and optimisation of learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), and other digital learning tools. They'll work collaboratively with MU stakeholders to ensure these technologies are effectively utilised to deliver engaging, accessible, and impactful learning content. Additionally, through close partnership with Group and MU technology teams, the role involves managing data pipelines, providing technical support, and training to MU owners, and ensuring compliance with governance policies and data security regulations. By fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, the Learning Technology Lead will play a crucial role in transforming the learning landscape at Bupa, ultimately contributing to a more knowledgeable, skilled, and adaptable workforce.
You'll help us make health happen by:
Design and Development:
- Collaborate with local (MU) and Group teams to create engaging and effective learning experiences using a variety of instructional design methodologies and technologies.
User Experience (UX) Design:
- Apply UX design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly learning interfaces.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve learning experiences.
Learning Technologies:
- Utilise learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), and other digital tools to deliver and track learning experiences.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in learning technologies and recommend opportunities to innovate, based by understanding of local and global objectives
Data and Analytics
- Support the creation and maintenance of data integrations to meet business requirements through partnership with local resource.
- Use data-driven insights to inform the design and development of future learning initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the L&D team, People, Technology, and other stakeholders to align learning experiences with organisational goals.
- Communicate effectively with learners to understand their needs and gather feedback on learning experiences.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support the implementation of learning initiatives.
Strategic Planning:
- Prioritise and execute against strategic plan for the adoption and utilisation of learning technologies to support global and local organisational goals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in learning technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with the L&D team to align technology initiatives with learning and development strategies
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role.
Essential
- At least 3 years of experience in learning experience design, or a related role.
- Proven experience in designing and developing digital learning experiences.
- Experience with implementing, managing and continual improvement of learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of seniority and geographies
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Excellent UX design skills and familiarity with design tools
- Strong analytical skills and experience with learning analytics.
- Experience standing up and managing social learning communities
- Strong knowledge of UX design principles and methodologies.
- Spanish speaker
