Job Description
As a Paid Social Manager, you will focus on brand investment in the upper and mid funnel to deliver on the brand media strategy and communications framework. You'll be at the forefront of redefining the brand's identity, crafting compelling campaigns that resonate with our audience. Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Media Management: Act as the subject matter expert for upper funnel strategies, proactively advising teams on best practices and innovation opportunities.
- Campaign Management: Lead the setup and optimisation of paid social campaigns across Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and other social platforms. Identifying new and exciting ways to connect with our consumers.
- Strategy Execution: Implement the brand media strategy and communications framework, focusing on best in class upper and mid funnel strategies, testing new opportunities to bring the Asos brand to life.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with a creative strategist to ensure platform best practices and develop a test-and-learn roadmap. Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including creative, performance, and media planning, to ensure campaigns align with the overall brand and business strategy.
- Campaign Launches: Drive exciting campaign launch moments, utilising shoot, talent and organic assets in paid media to deliver campaign goals.
- Performance Integration: Ensure connected customer journeys with our performance spend, aligning with broader business goals and KPIs.
- Reporting & Analysis: Conduct ongoing daily and weekly reporting, including budget monitoring and spend reviews.
- Competitor Analysis: Own the monthly competitor review process and stay updated with platform developments and industry best practices. Continuously monitor and test emerging social platforms and tools to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Financial Management: Manage a multi-million pound brand social budget working with media planning and measurement teams to drive performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Paid Social and Digital Marketing, with a strong understanding of the role of brand digital media and strategy from either agency experience or social-first in-house roles.
- Platform expertise: Strong knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Snap and Pinterest ad managers as well as Smartly for creative uploads and reporting.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with numbers and interpret data to drive decisions.
- Creativity: A creative thinker with a data-driven mindset, able to translate insights into compelling campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Industry Passion: A commercial mindset with a passion for the Retail industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel for reporting and data analysis, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to understand and adjust to differences between geographies and cultures.
