MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
As the HR Lead, you will be at the heart of the company’s Human Resources management, overseeing all HR functions and working closely with the Management Team and all the employees to address their HR needs and support their growth and well-being.
Your primary mission will be to guide the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR strategies, systems, and processes that prioritize the people behind the company. You will provide expert HR advice, support the Management Team in making strategic decisions, and serve as a trusted resource for employees on all HR-related matters.
As an
ambassador of the company’s vision as a Liberated / F-Form Company, you will help foster a culture where everyone feels empowered and valued, ensuring that HR initiatives align with both business goals and the needs of our team.
Responsibilities
While remaining operational, you will play a pivotal role in aligning all HR functions with the company’s vision of a liberated organization and serve as an ambassador of the Liberated / F-Form company. This means embodying and promoting the company’s values and vision in every aspect of your work. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements while acting as a strategic partner to management, contributing to workforce planning and organizational development.
Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with employees and external stakeholders to foster a positive and thriving company culture. You will oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to training, development, and offboarding, ensuring that each step reflects the company’s commitment to growth and employee well-being.
You will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, ensuring that our HR programs align with organizational goals. Managing payroll and benefits administration with precision and care will be key responsibilities, alongside implementing effective HR programs that prioritize safety, development, and the holistic well-being of employees.
You will continuously evaluate and refine HR processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, always acting as a steward of the company’s mission to cultivate a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and alignment with its liberated vision.
MISSIONS
HR STRATEGY
Employee & Management Team Relations and Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding time-off balances, benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns.
- Mediate disputes and provide guidance on conflict resolution, escalating complex issues to senior management when necessary.
- Follow offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and gathering feedback.
- Assist with the realization of Individual Interviews and Year Reviews, providing support to managers and employees.
- Provide HR support to managers on policies, conflict resolution, and leadership development.
- Communicate important updates, policies, and HR-related news to employees.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, conduct job analyses, and develop recruitment strategies.
- Create compelling job descriptions and post vacancies across ADP and various platforms to attract potential candidates.
- Manage the hiring process by reviewing applications, conducting initial screenings, and shortlisting candidates based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Assist Managers in coordinating and conducting interviews (phone, video, in-person), assessing candidates’ suitability, and reaching out to references.
- Extend job offers, negotiate terms if necessary, and guide successful candidates through a smooth onboarding process.
- Oversee visa sponsorship processes (H-1B, E-2, J-1) in collaboration with immigration counsel (e.g., FACC).
- Develop comprehensive onboarding programs that introduce new hires to company culture, policies, and systems.
Training & Team Development
- Identify organizational training needs through skills gap analysis, performance evaluations, and anticipating future business requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to identified needs and aligned with specific learning objectives.
- Conduct engaging training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using diverse methodologies to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through post-training evaluations and adjust content where needed.
- Manage training logistics, scheduling, coordination with trainers or external vendors, and oversee training budgets.
- Provide career development guidance to employees, recommending training paths and supporting skill enhancement initiatives.
Employer Branding & Employee Engagement
- Actively promote the company’s vision and employer brand through partnerships with schools, associations, and industry organizations.
- Plan and execute initiatives to enhance Quality of Work Life and increase employee satisfaction.
- Organize corporate events, team-building activities, and employee appreciation programs, lead wellness initiatives
Safety & CSR
- As a Safety Coordinator, collaborate with other safety coordinators to follow and implement health and safety action plans.
- Implement and manage workplace safety programs, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Deliver safety training sessions, including emergency evacuation procedures.
- Support the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to promote employee well-being and sustainability efforts.
HR ADMINISTRATIVE
Payroll & Compensation Administration
- Process and review payroll through ADP, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Manage direct deposit setups, tax withholdings, and garnishment orders.
- Monitor / resolve time card discrepancies to ensure accurate hours and approvals.
- Conduct year-end payroll processes, including W-2 distribution and compliance reviews.
Benefits Administration
- Oversee annual open enrollment for company-sponsored benefits and guide employees in their selections.
- Address employee inquiries regarding health insurance claims, 401(k) accounts, and workers' compensation.
- Administer commuter benefits (e.g., transit cards) and manage employee enrollments or updates.
- Stay updated on benefits regulations and ensure compliance.
HR Records & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records in ADP.
- Process employee changes, including new hires, rehires, terminations, and personal data updates.
- Generate HR reports and analysis.
Administrative & Travel Coordination
- Plan and manage employee travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and visas.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and manage expense reporting.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for events or business activities.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Draft, update, and communicate employee Handbooks and HR policies to align with federal, state and local regulations.
- Act as the liaison between the company and the PEO for HR compliance, benefits, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement leave policies in compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other regulations.
- Collaborate with legal and professional resources to ensure all employment policies align with current laws and regulations.

PROFILE
You are a highly autonomous, agile, and dynamic professional, with a strong passion for HR and a track record of leading and managing a wide range of HR initiatives. With at least
5 years of experience as HR Lead, you thrive in challenging environments and are adept at taking on strategic and operational HR responsibilities. A Degree in Human Resources is a must, along with a deep understanding of HR best practices and a proven ability to drive change.
You firmly believe that people should be at the core of a company’s strategy, and your values align closely with those of the Liberated / F-Form Company. Sociable and with a strong presence, you excel at influencing, debating, and engaging with diverse individuals across all levels. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are key to your success in building relationships and driving collaboration.
You enjoy working in project mode, where your creativity meets your organizational strengths. A self-starter, you take initiative and lead with confidence, managing and facilitating change within the organization. Proactive, results-oriented, and strategic, you will be integral to supporting and driving the HR department’s initiatives, helping to shape and implement the HR strategy and policies.
Remote working is not an option, as we need someone who is operationally involved and capable of providing hands-on support to the teams while keeping the strategic HR objectives in mind. Additionally,
fluency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with our diverse teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in HR with at least 5 years of relevant HR Lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and a deep understanding of local, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
