Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead our lifecycle communication strategy and execution for both B2B and B2C audiences. This role is pivotal in driving conversion rates, engagement, and retention across the customer journey. You will work cross-functionally to deliver data-driven campaigns that create meaningful interactions, ensuring that our lifecycle communication delivers maximum impact to the business’ objective.
Key Responsibilities
- Lifecycle Strategy Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy tailored to B2B and B2C audiences.
- Identify and map key touchpoints in the customer journey to maximize conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Be the channel champion and set the standard for effective lifecycle communication.
- Campaign Management:
- Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, in-app messaging, SMS, push notifications, etc.) to engage customers at each stage of their journey.
- Explore new, effective communication channels for different target markets
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, dynamic content and other technology-enabled enhancements
- A/B test and optimise messaging, content, and timing to improve campaign effectiveness
- Data-Driven Insights:
- Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Develop segmentation strategies and personalized campaigns to drive measurable outcomes.
- Analyze and report on campaign and communication programme performance
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the product, sales, customer success, customer experience and content teams to align messaging and ensure consistent customer experiences
- Partner with analytics teams to report on performance metrics and recommend data-driven improvements
- Retention and Engagement:
- Develop communication initiatives that improve customer engagement and reduce churn.
- Implement communication strategies to increase product usage and engagement among existing users.
- Tools and Platforms:
- Manage marketing automation tools and CRM systems to execute campaigns and monitor performance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance lifecycle marketing effectiveness.
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
- Proven experience in lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing, with a focus on both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys and lifecycle stages.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar).
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in segmentation, personalization, and campaign analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create impactful, engaging content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Proficient in analyzing performance metrics (e.g. open rates, CTR, conversion rates, retention rates).
- Natural collaborator with a strategic mindset
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in the e-learning or SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, ZoomInfo and other data and analytics tool.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £48,000.00-£53,000.00 per year
