We have an exciting opportunity for a social media manager to join our motorsport division, based in central London, with lots of exciting global travel to on-site races. Reporting into the Communications Director, you will be an integral member of the team, supporting across social media content strategy, content creation, and community management. This position provides an incredible opportunity to be immersed within a motorsport team, extensive travel opportunities, and a clear pathway for growth for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in a simular role
- Working in the office and on site at race events to support comms across channels
- Co-ordinating content planning and creation process and ensuring social media requirements are briefed into photographers and videographers
- Liaison with central brand social team to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment
- Understanding of automotive and/ or luxury brand comms on social
- Experience in motorsport environments is required – either for a manufacturer, sponsor or team
- Agile comms and copywriting skills
- Experience of managing live social media activations at events
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of social reporting and analysis
