ICHF Events is the UK's leading organiser of craft, hobby and lifestyle events. We organise events across the UK at leading exhibition venues.
We are recruiting for a part time Marketing Executive to work within the marketing department. The role will require attendance at events including occasional weekend working.
The purpose of the role is to:
· Support the marketing department in driving ticket sales, increasing visitor numbers and attracting new audiences
· Develop relationships with relevant industry contacts
· Advise sales and marketing departments on new trends, market developments and industry research
· Work to agreed budgets and targets
· Implement marketing plans and campaigns provided by the Marketing Manager

The role is accountable for:
Marketing Administration:
· Work closely with Creative Projects Manager to co-ordinate features and workshops
· Support Marketing Manager with co-ordinating all marketing comms
· Co-ordinate and update website content across event websites
· Assist Marketing team with social media campaigns and content
· Monitor ongoing show development spend against the budget and keeping accurate records.
· Marketing admin support including update exhibitor zones, research, coach listings, venue artwork and graphics.
· Work on-site at events where necessary
· Monitor venue websites to ensure ICHF events are published
Features and contras:
· Ensure all details of agreements are delivered to third party e.g. position within show, ads on website, e-newsletters etc.
· Liaise with PR agency with all show development features and contra information to ensure PR plan incorporates commitments as per agreement
· Work closely with Customer and Admin Support Manager to manage ticket sales process via third party and all promotion codes relating to agreement
· Provide regular updates to Operations Manager with details of what is required onsite e.g. furniture, graphics etc.
Key required Competencies:
Essential Skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Good knowledge of social media platforms
· High level business acumen with the ability to assess viability of projects against company objectives
· Able to manage varied and hectic workload and to work to deadlines
· Proven track record of successfully of working to targets and within budgets
· Proficient in working with IT systems
· Minimum of 5 GCSES (including Maths and English)
· Ability to work away from home occasionally at weekends and unsociable hours
Desirable skills
· A-level or equivalent higher education qualifications
· Experience within the hobby and cake artistry industry
· Previous experience working within the events industry
· Solid understanding of onsite health and safety
· Clean drivers licence
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
