Role overview
We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our team, based in our London office, with hybrid working options. Reporting to the Digital Design Lead, you will work closely with our creative and strategy teams to transform complex tech concepts into clear, compelling visual stories that engage and inspire.
As part of a close-knit team, you'll be integral to our agency's creative output, balancing a playful, collaborative approach with a passion for delivering effective, high-quality work. Working with innovative design tools, you’ll gain hands-on experience across diverse projects, developing a strong foundation in visual storytelling for B2B audiences.
As a Junior Digital Designer at Velocity, you will:
- Design graphics, icons, and images for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
- Work on the layout of web pages, landing pages, and other digital content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior designers and creative teams to develop design concepts for client projects.
- Review and apply client feedback and amendment requests to refine designs.
- Research industry trends, design innovations, and competitor approaches to ensure fresh, modern design solutions.
You will bring:
- 2 years of design experience, creating engaging digital experiences across different platforms.
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard tools.
- An understanding of B2B Marketing and the nuances of marketing to businesses and tech experts.
- Knowledge of the latest technologies, AI creative tools and marketing trends with a drive to learn more.
