About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a React Developer to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

As a React Developer you will engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions. You’ll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that're often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining responsive web application user interfaces
Participating in code review to maintain high quality code
Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business
Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operation

About You

Requirements

Thrives in a high-skilled team environment, demonstrating resilience and maintaining high performance under pressure.
Proficient in working with high level user stories, utilising personal initiative to interpret requirements.
Proven experience as a Senior Web Developer
Extensive knowledge of modern UI technologies
Experience in UI unit testing frameworks
Experience with version control system s like Git
Experience with working with Web Grid such as AG Grid
Familiarity with server side language C#
