Role Summary
We are recruiting a Marketing Manager that will be key to the continuing success and growth of our core business brands and you can play a part in shaping the continuing future success of our brands and our innovation pipeline moving forward. As such, you will be afforded autonomy to shape your strategy whilst benefiting from involvement in the development of innovative support tools & customer-oriented solutions that are designed to change the shape of the market. You will also be supported by a management team of industry experts who are focused on continuing to build a business that we are very proud of.

Responsibilities
Determining Strategy & Activities
· Develop a clear strategy, marketing plans / campaigns in line with the needs of the market to ensure maximum opportunities, sustainable profitability, growth & market share.
· Successfully launch new products / phase out old products in line with sales organisation & market needs to sustain profitability, growth & market share.
· Contribute to central marketing team activities (e.g. Marketing Meetings, projects, conference, Exhibitions & Data Management)
Pricing, Forecasting & Measurement
· Maintain local pricing strategy awareness within company guidelines & support sales activity & tender submissions to ensure profits & market share are in line with or above budget/forecast.
· Work In conjunction with the director to prepare budgets / forecasts for the agreed brand assortment to optimise spend and drive cost effectiveness where possible.
· Measure the success of the sales & marketing strategy / campaigns & benchmark against competitors & take corrective action where appropriate.
Communication & Marketing Mix
· Develop & implement, sales & marketing concepts, arguments & claims to support the sales organisation & drive growth.
· Maintain a positive & close dialogue with the local sales management team & all appropriate stakeholders to ensure alignment & execution of marketing strategy.
Data, Support, Training & Education
· Centrally maintain & develop the product literature, catalogues, other marketing collateral & Customer data related material to assist with the efficient delivery of projects (e.g. Web Catalogue, CRM)
· Training - Secure competence & knowledge within the sales organisation & customer base to improve competencies & knowledge to achieve targets.
· Provide regular content to keep website(s), social media, Newsletters & all other future content driven services up to date & fresh.
· Act as an internal point of reference for all product related queries.
Social Awareness - Competitor & Market Knowledge
· Identify & monitor market & competitor trends, changes & external factors to enable any opportunities to be exploited through marketing activities.
· Inform the business / marketing / sales functions of any product related issues, competitor activities, market trends, customer’s needs & marketing opportunities to ensure that Healthium Medtech gets the products that are needed to satisfy the customers.
· Actively seek, build & review partnerships with KOL’s that will support the relevant brands, campaigns, launches, initiatives & best clinical practice.
Leadership & Management
- Set, measure & review objectives for team individual(s) that you have responsibility for. Support & develop through coaching & regular 1:1’s in line with core objectives/behaviours/ competencies
Specific Activities:
· Provide ongoing expert product support to new and existing customers
· Work effectively with Sales Team to drive successful sales outcomes in line with sales targets and business
expectations
· Set personal targets and goals and hold self-accountable for delivery
· Utilise resources available and exploit data/information to support customers appropriately
· Develop personal understanding of market dynamics and challenges and feedback relevant information to
the management teams.
· Collaborate with all internal departments and team members to ensure a high level of customer service to
clients, proactively feeding back opportunities for improvement
· Invest time in developing the highest level of competent in product and procedure knowledge
· Seek out new business development opportunities – within evaluating and target accounts
· Support sales team members with product presentation and demonstration as necessary

Experience:
Whilst personality and personal profile is the key indicator to success, previous experience supported by evidence of personal activity and resultant success is ideal to facilitate faster time to results following onboarding
Desirable experience: -
· Line management experience and / or team leader experience
· Healthcare Marketing Experience (Min 3years)
· Wound closure Market Experience
· Sales Experience
Qualifications and skills:
· Qualified to degree level (preferably in a Marketing related subject)
· Advanced Microsoft skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Competitive starting salary £65,000 - £75,000 + bonus
