About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and bright PPC Specialist to join our friendly digital marketing team. We manage all aspects of the business, making this an exciting opportunity with the prospect of excellent career progression within the company. The right applicant should be self-motivated, ambitious, articulate and above all, eager to learn. The ideal candidate should have in-depth hands-on experience in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising with a keen interest to apply their skills and develop their expertise.
You will be involved in a range of stimulating activities across a range of paid advertising channels; such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Facebook Ads. You will be evaluating and improving campaign performance, evaluating keyword and ad performance, amending bids, implementing strategic changes to paid accounts, identifying ways to grow paid acquisition, in addition to a range of other exciting tasks. You will work closely with the fast-growing digital marketing team, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively is essential.
Our bright and friendly offices, with spectacular views of the city are based in Central London (WC1X) - within walking distance from various underground and train stations such as Russell Square, Chancery Lane, Kings Cross, and Farringdon.
Key responsibilities
- Daily management of PPC accounts and paid advertising
- Competitor analysis
- Optimising account structure
- Growing all paid advertising channels
- Budget management across advertising channels
- Applying and ensuring Google best practices where appropriate on Google Ads and respective best practices for other paid advertising channels
- Identifying new ways to grow, enhance and optimise paid advertising channels
- Creating in-depth reports to analyse data and calculate important metrics (CLTV, CAC, Retention Rate) to help guide paid acquisition strategy.
Key skills
- A strong background in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising with a minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience (required)
- A keen interest in paid advertising, paid search and digital marketing trends
- In depth knowledge of paid advertising channels such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Facebook Ads
- Deep understanding of keyword research, match types, negative keywords, quality scores, ad rank and other components of paid search
- Experience writing compelling written content for ads quickly
- Experience managing paid search campaigns that use automated bidding
- Have an exceptionally high standard of English and grammar
- Passionate about attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards throughout your work
- Excellent analytical skills to help evaluate and improve paid search performance when assessing auction insights and identifying opportunities for campaign optimisations
- The ability to work closely and collaboratively with other team members
- The ability to conduct in depth data analysis and manipulate data effectively
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Is articulate, analytical and methodical
- Is results-driven and highly motivated with a problem-solving attitude
- Has a high level of organisation and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
- Has a solid team spirit and strong work ethic
- Is proactive and enthusiastic
Desirable but not essential
- Experience working in health and well-being or pharmaceutical-related paid search or paid advertising accounts
