We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused wordsmith extraordinaire to join our Marketing team as a Content Specialist. You will be the voice of our brand in our customer's minds when they read any Zenith content. Keeping a clear, engaging and consistent tone of voice to help customers understand what we do, and why they should work with us over our competitors, the words you write will tell our customers (current and prospective) everything they need to know about our product, which will directly improve conversion and drive orders. You will grow engagement with our website and customer communications and share the story of our business in Zenith's Annual Report.
The role
- Draft, edit, and proofread site content, emails, business bios, event stand copy, site error messages,and any other content as required by the business to ensure they are clear, concise, engaging and meet the brief.
- Be the main copywriter for our Annual Report, sharing our story with multiple audiences including colleagues, customers, supply partners and investors. This will involve working with key stakeholders from across Zenith to understand the key messages and convey them in an engaging way.
- Work incredibly closely with my colleagues in the marketing team to take a holistic view of the content (considering design and channel in what I produce to ensure it's as effective as possible)
- Always think from the customer's perspective to bring a totally customer-centric heart to everything we say.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure I understand exactly what is required of the content and then to make sure what I provide meets their needs.
- Peer reviewing/proofreading content that has been produced by other people in the marketing team.
What you will bring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Super creative approach to writing content, with the skills to adapt content and tone of voice to different audiences and engage the reader even when covering complicated topics.
- Experience in writing engaging content for a variety of stakeholders with different wants, needs and challenges.
- Customer-focused, prioritising the customer experience and needs in all content..
- Strong proof reading and attention to detail (no rogue apostrophes will get past you).
- Ability to manage multiple high priority projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Enjoy working with detail.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
- Positive attitude to driving business impact.
