To make A&M the most engaging, global brand on social; entertaining, inspiring and educating our followers through the creation of viral social media content. You will drive hype and awareness of A&M’s stores, products, services and key messages. Your focus will be on building a truly engaged, global A&M community.
What does success look like?
Community Management
- Support the social team on daily community management, where needed, using our social management platform and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure a consistent dialogue with our community.
- Tap into cross-brand relationships and communities to connect with like-minded customers and amplify A&M’s brand awareness.
- Collaborate with wider Global & International teams to manage communication with creators and brand partners on social.
Planning, Scheduling & Posting
- Own the quarterly and weekly social media calendars ensuring all content is planned in ahead of time in accordance to key commercial and brand moments.
- Handle the day-to-day management of all social media platforms, including scheduling posts using our social media management tool.
- Take ownership of optimising content across owned social media platforms (SEO, product tagging, updating links, highlights etc).
- Assist with the curation and update content calendars plus contribute to quarterly social planning, aligning with all key marketing & commercial moments and presenting to relevant stakeholders.
- Continually bring innovative ideas and creative concepts to our social media strategy that align with the wider marketing strategy.
Content Creation & Management
- Collaborate with the Content Team to brief deliverables and create social content at photoshoots.
- Brief the Brand Design team to bring these social media concepts to life through social media content and graphics for all channels in-feed.
- Generate innovative social-first concepts to cut through the noise on social and drive strong reach and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the brand team to create insight-led social content briefs for influencers to perform well on owned channels.
- Attend shoots, stores and brand activations to capture social-first content where required supporting the social team.
- Edit content, particularly short-form social first video content, in line with commercial moments and trends.
- Craft snappy and engaging copy maintaining our Tone of Voice tailored to each platform.
- Utilise in-app features across channels to maximise content virality and engage with our community.
Reporting & Insights
- Keep up to date with social media trends and competitor activity within the social media landscape.
- Work alongside our wider social team to regularly monitor performance of social activity, reviewing analytics and creating reports around insights and opportunities to shape future plans.
- Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly trade reporting & share commentary and actions around insights.
- Research reactive social media trends & updates to ensure we’re leading the way and have our finger on the pulse of what’s next.
- 1-2 years experience working within a social media role, with previous experience with shooting iPhone social first content, editing and utilising a scheduling / reporting platform.
- A passion for working within social media and a solid understanding of what’s going to go viral & key trends.
- Knowledge of all social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook & YouTube.
- A strong creative eye, excellent attention to detail and must be highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong initiative.
- A ‘can do’ attitude, being open to learn and ready to disrupt the space.
